Founded in May 2020, vivfits started as a personal creative outlet during the Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown. With an interest in upcycling old fabrics and garments, I was able to prolong the life cycle of the preloved clothing. The passion eventually led to exploring handmade tops, dresses and accessories.
vivfits has truly been a great opportunity to hone my craftsmanship. I was able to utilize the sewing, pattern making and draping skills, taught are in my diploma modules.
It also gave me a first hand experience in running a business and marketing myself. I was able to make meaningful connections with my consumers and similar small local businesses.
vivfits was also featured on The Smart Local in an article titled '40 Local Home Based Businesses To support In These Times, Sorted By Category'.
As a small start-up business, it was truly an honour to be highlighted in a local media publisher.
